This Power Filter comes equipped with all the necessary filter media to ensure superior Mechanical, Chemical and Biological filtration. The PFE9 hang-on back filter utilizes a filtration chamber system with replaceable filter sponge cartridges enhanced with AquaTop’s Activated Carbon and Biological Media Trays. The trays have a maximum surface-area for your beneficial bacteria to colonize help keep clean water. The largest model in the PFE Series, the PFE9 also includes an adjustable surface skimmer that helps to promote gas exchange and keep the surface of the water crystal clear.
