The PLS-150 is the latest addition to the CAD Lights innovative line of Pipe Less protein skimmers. It incorporates a conic design which utilizes a process called dwell time. Dwell time is a process that improves the efficiency of the skimmer by increasing the contact time between the water and the bubbles. The PLS-150 is for aquariums from 75 gallons to 160 gallons. The PLS-150 is built with features that you would expect from a high performing skimmer. With all the traditional wedge pipes, ball valves, gate valves and any external flow control mechanism removed, you get a very compact space saving powerful skimmer like no other. Pin Wheel technology built into the PLS-150 is usually found with very large and very high performing skimmers. The PLS-150 by CAD Lights is the first to utilize the skimmer body to regulate and control the foaming level and pressure by simply turning the body one way to elevate the foam level and turn the other way to lower the foam level. The unique pipe-less design uses the pump pressure to create an extremely low friction area between the hand smoothed skimmer base and the top part of the skimmer to give you smooth and easy control of the foaming level.
